Biography
Sam Sohbat-zadeh, a 14-year-old Kurdish Kermanj child, was originally from Khalkhal in Ardabil province but resided in Tehran. He was killed on January 8, 2026, during protests in Qods City (Ghal'e Hassan-khan), Tehran, by a direct shot to the head from Islamic Republic security forces. Sam had been working to help his family since the age of 10 while also attending school. However, in October 2025, he left school to focus solely on work. His body was later buried in Lanbar, his ancestral village in Khalkhal.
سام صحبتزاده، کودک ۱۴ ساله کُرد کرمانج، اهل خلخال در استان اردبیل بود و در تهران سکونت داشت. او در تاریخ ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴ در جریان اعتراضات مردمی در شهر قدس (قلعه حسنخان) تهران، با شلیک مستقیم گلوله جنگی نیروهای سرکوب جمهوری اسلامی به ناحیه سر، جان باخت. سام از ۱۰ سالگی برای کمک به خانواده خود همزمان با تحصیل کار میکرد، اما در مهر ۱۴۰۴ مدرسه را ترک کرده و تنها مشغول به کار بود. پیکر او همان شب به خلخال منتقل شد و در تاریخ ۲۰ دی ۱۴۰۴ در آرامستان روستای زادگاهش «لنبر» به خاک سپرده شد.
